APOSTLE DR. EDDIE L. JOHNSON III is the Apostle and Overseer of The Inspired Souls Praise and Worship Center, as well as the Presiding Prelate of The Inspired Souls Global Ministries, both located in Saint Louis, Missouri. He is recognized for his fervent devotion to God and his dynamic preaching style, marked by a special anointing for praise and worship. Apostle Johnson is dedicated to bringing healing, deliverance, and restoration to leaders, those who are abused, wounded, broken, and rejected.
Apostle Johnson is committed to the vision of "No More Church As Usual," which involves embracing an approach that transcends traditional limitations and relies on faith in God to achieve extraordinary outcomes. He advocates that a genuine church, comprised of sincere individuals serving a true God, leads to authentic transformation.
Apostle Johnson began his ministry journey at a young age, starting as a doorkeeper at the age of eight, joining the Junior Usher Board. He was appointed as Youth Director at the age of 13. Following the guidance of the Holy Spirit, Apostle Johnson delivered his first sermon on April 6, 2006, entitled "All You Need Is Faith". On March 29, 2009, he fully embraced his calling into the preaching ministry and was licensed under the leadership of Bishop Perry L. Wilkes after delivering a compelling message, "I'm Still Standing", at The Angels of God International Worship Center. Subsequently, in response to God's call to pastoral ministry, Apostle Johnson was ordained on January 29, 2012, by The Angels of God International Worship Center.
Apostle Johnson is the founder of several ministries in St. Louis, MO, including The Angels of God International Worship Center (2009), The Apostolic Crusade (2012), The Refreshing Fire Revival (2013), The Inspired Souls Global Ministries (2016), and Blessed and Moving Forward Ministry (2017). He also serves on the boards of various other ministries.
Apostle Johnson was affirmed into the Office of Apostle of the Lord’s church on November 1, 2014, under The Unification of Apostles & Bishops within The Kingdom Empowerment International Covenant Fellowship of Churches under Apostle Dr. Robbie C. Peters.
Apostle Johnson has a diverse professional background in the St. Louis area, including roles such as Operations Supervisor at local Adult Day Care Centers, In Home Health Care Services, Private Duty Health Care Services, cook, and Office Manager for the Missouri Department of Revenue. Additionally, he is an entrepreneur in the Event Planning and Catering field.
He holds an Honorary Doctor of Divinity, as well as earned Doctor of Theology in Christian Education, Doctor of Philosophy in Christian Education, Pastoral Counseling, and Leadership Administration from The Empowerment Theological Institute and Bible Seminary, where he also serves as Provost and Adjunct Professor.
